Bob Ottenhoff

For twenty-five years, I’ve been fortunate to help people and organizations tell their stories and share their good works, especially with help from technological innovation. I served as President of VT Lynx, a telecom firm, COO of PBS, the Executive Director of the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority, and also had the fortune to start WBGO-FM, a New York metropolitan jazz station.

I am now the CEO of GuideStar. Our goal is to revolutionize philanthropy and nonprofit practice by providing information that encourages transparency, facilitates charitable giving, and helps potential donors makes the most informed decisions possible about their giving.  I also serve on the boards of several other incredible organizations, including Vision TV, Grameen Foundation USA , and Giving USA (formerly AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy).
